BITSAT is a computer based online test for Admission to Graduation programs in Engineering. This test is conducted by the Birla Institute of Technology. It is one of the best institutions in India which provides admissions for the Engineering and other Professional Courses. Every year it releases the BITSAT exam notification in the month of January. The BITSAT examination is conducted in the month of April and May. Based on the SAT Score, the BITS give the admissions to the candidates.


Eligibility and pattern for BITSAT - 2017

  • Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects.
  • The syllabus will be based on the NCERT syllabus of 11th & 12th standard. The syllabus will comprise of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning.
  • The exam shall be conducted in the 3rd week of May to Last week of May 2018.
  • The duration will be of 3 hours duration.
  • The exam will be conducted in computer based mode.
  • The question paper will contain multiple choice questions.
  • Three marks will be given for each correct answer.
  • One mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.
  • Total 150 questions will be asked.
